Response Cards |
These enclosures allow your guests to accept or decline your invitation, they include envelopes with your return address printed. Be sure to place first class postage on the response envelopes as a courtesy to your guests! This is also a great way to give your guests a meal choice, not only will you know how many people are coming to your event, you will know there meal preference as well. Response cards are generally approx 3.5" x 5". |

At Home Cards |
A card stating your new address. You may mail these along with your invitations, however, if you have them printed as Mr. and Mrs. Married Name, you must send them separately after the wedding. |

Inner Envelopes |
Inner envelopes are included in the price of most invitations. The invitation assemble is placed in this envelope first which is addressed with just the guest's name then inserted into the outer envelope which gets addressed to your guest. It is the inner envelope which is most often lined with color or pattern liners. Inner envelopes are not gummed and may be sealed with a decorative seal. |

This is the envelope that gets addressed to your guest, you may embellish this envelope with a custom embosser, printed return address and/or a decorative seal. |

Choosing a RSVP date |
check with your caterer or reception site as to when to need a final head count and/or meal selection count, then make the date approx. one week prior to that to allow for stragglers - usually the RSVP date works out to be two weeks prior to the event |

Printing Style |
Thermography - (raised printing) a rubberized powder is applied to fresh wet ink, excess powder is dusted off and paper is heated fusing the powder into a raised print.
Flat Printing - ink applied to paper with by a printing plate.
Engraving - lettering is etched into a metal plate and the recesses of the lettering are filled with ink, the paper is then pressed in between the inked plate on the front and a mirror image of this plate from the back. This presses the paper into the inked recesses forming raised ink portions of the paper. Engraved invitations found in Sand Scripts' Online Invitation Catalog are printed on 100% cotton watermarked papers. |
Invitations found in Sand Scripts' Online Invitation Catalog will be printed using thermography (raised lettering) on most invitations if not stated otherwise.
In most cases, envelopes will be flat printed as sometimes there is residue powder and it concerns people to
have a "powder-like" substance on their postal envelopes and also some of that powder and/or heat from
the thermography may effect the sealing properties of some envelopes.
If flat printing on all or some of the pieces (same charge) is desired, it must be expressed upon ordering.
Engraving is available for most invitations for approximately an additional $65.00/100 stationery pieces. Inquire for a quote. |

Color Matching |
For over 30 years, PANTONE Color Systems have enabled designers and manufacturers worldwide to specify and communicate accurate color. Today, PANTONE is the recognized leader in color communication for the graphic arts, apparel, home furnishings, beauty and industrial design communities. PANTONE provides color trend direction for the vast majority of consumer products ranging from fashion to home. If a PMS or PANTONE number is provided for your order,
please be sure to check with a PANTONE swatch book so you are aware of the color that will be printed. Some surfaces will affect the true color of the printing and we will match as closely as possible when a PMS color is designated. Remember monitors/printers will make colors appear different than actual. Sand Scripts is not responsible for color matching or color calibration of how colors may appear to you. Best advise is that you order a sample prior to press and consult with a PANTONE book when color is of utmost importance.

| What happens when you place your invitation/announcement order
Once we receive your invitation order in writing via Sand Scripts' secure online order form, e-mail or fax, your information is entered into a "Wedding Invitation Confirmation". This is e-mailed or faxed back to you with any questions or suggestions we may have regarding your order along with an itemized statement. Once we receive your confirmation, your order will go to print exactly as you have confirmed. This e-mail/fax is text only and is not formatted nor in the typestyle that you order. What you confirm, is what you receive. If you wish a fax paper proof after the invitation has been typeset; for the invitation add $25.00, for accessory piece fax paper proofs add $15.00. Alterations to these proofs are $1.00 - $5.00 per line. Proof pricing may vary. |
